Our first Chinese New Year as a family was very simple and to the point. We dressed up and went out to eat at our favorite Chinese restraunt and the kids loved being in their new clothes and trying out a few chinese phrases on the wait staff who ate it up. Next year we hope to join in on a few more activites , but I think for our first year we had a great time. Enjoy the pictures.

That sounds like a lovely celebration! We went to our local celebration, and it was packed, noisy and hectic. I think we might pass next year, and go out to eat like you did!

Oh what beautiful children!! I love seeing them dressed in their Chinese clothing. It is such fun to celebrate with the kids.
When did you have her ears pierced? How has she been doing with them??
